No Win No Fee — what you may pay

If a solicitor takes your case on a No Win No Fee basis, these are the typical costs to understand before you proceed.

No Win No Fee typically costs ~48% of your compensation

If you use a partner solicitor on a No Win No Fee basis and your claim succeeds, their fee is typically 40% of compensation plus VAT (48% in total). Example: £1,000 compensation → about £480 in fees → about £520 to you. Fees vary by firm.

If you are claiming for a PCP car finance claim, the solicitor fees typically range between 18% and 36% (inclusive of VAT).

If you withdraw after the 14-day cooling-off period, the solicitor may charge a cancellation fee. This is typically calculated based on work completed on your file to date, using the hourly rate or staged fees in your agreement. Confirm the amount and calculation method in writing before you proceed.

What Money Rewind does

We connect you with solicitors who can review your claim

We are not a law firm and we do not handle your claim ourselves — we help you reach a solicitor who can assess your circumstances and explain your options.

  • SRA-regulated solicitors

We introduce you to solicitors regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority who can review whether you have a case.

  • A straightforward process

Tell us about your situation, review the key information, and decide whether you want an introduction — no pressure to proceed.

  • Support before you commit

Our team can answer questions about how introductions work, what solicitors may charge, and where to find full regulatory information.

Motor finance — important update

The FCA has finalised the Motor Finance Consumer Redress Scheme (PS26/3, March 2026). Eligible consumers may be contacted directly by their lender about a free redress route — you do not need to pay a claims management company to access it. The scheme is subject to ongoing legal challenge as at June 2026, so payout timing may vary depending on your agreement date. Motor finance commission complaints may relate to agreements taken out between 6 April 2007 and 1 November 2024. Eligibility depends on your individual agreement and circumstances. How Money Rewind works

Four clear steps from first contact to working with a solicitor — you stay in control throughout.

Step 1

Answer Some Questions

We ask about your situation to see whether an introduction may be appropriate.

Step 2

Review Key Information

Before any introduction, we make sure you have seen the key disclosures, including your right to pursue your claim yourself for free.

Step 3

Match You With A Solicitor

If you choose to proceed, we introduce you to an SRA-regulated solicitor who can review your case.

Step 4

Work With Your Solicitor

The solicitor assesses your case and explains next steps, fees and your right to cancel. Accepting a case does not guarantee success.
